Yashoda Africa Trading Limited (YATL) company based on the Lusaka is inviting applications for the following full-time position:

Job Title: Farm Manager

A position for Farm Manager has arisen at Farms being operated by YATL.  The Farm Manager will run the daily activities of the farm which is located in Serenje.

Responsibilities:

  •    Meeting targets for crops and all related agricultural products
  •    Prudently using farm resources and maintaining highest levels of safety of farm property and workers
  •    Organising and implementing the main stock priorities timeously
  •    Developing monthly, quarterly and annual work plans as well as associated costs to meet the projected production targets
  •    Ensuring high level farm records management
  •    Any other duties as assigned by Directors
Required profile for job ad : Farm Manager Salary (15,000 To 20,000 ZMW )

Qualifications:

  •    Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
  •    Certificate/diploma in crop science, general agriculture or related field from a reputable and recognized college

Skills & experience:

  •    Minimum 3 years’ experience in crop production (Maize, Wheat & Horticulture) and managing large commercial farms
  •    Strong attention to detail
  •    Analytical skills
  •    Complex problem-solving abilities
  •    Leadership and motivation qualities
  •    High integrity
  •    Able to work with minimum supervision
  •    Keen and ready to foster business growth
