Position : External Sales Executive – Beauty & Hair Industry - Johannesburg, Western Cape

A well-established, premium brand within the professional Beauty & Hair Care industry is seeking a polished and driven External Sales Executive to manage and grow an established, high-earning sales region. This role is suited to a relationship-focused sales professional who thrives on the road, enjoys consultative selling, and understands the dynamics of the salon environment.
The primary objective of this role is to grow revenue through exceptional customer care, strong relationship management, and the acquisition of new business, while representing a premium brand with professionalism and credibility.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain, service, and grow an existing client base within the region
  • Proactively identify and secure new salon accounts
  • Conduct regular client visits (3–4 days per week on the road)
  • Present, demonstrate, and educate clients on premium hair care products
  • Attend trade shows, brand events, and product training sessions
  • Support field technicians with in-salon demonstrations and workshops when required
  • Build long-term partnerships with salon owners and managers
  • Complete sales reports, forecasts, and general administrative tasks
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of company, client, and product information
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm at all times

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven external sales experience with solid road sales exposure (essential)
  • Previous sales experience within the professional beauty or hair industry (essential)
  • Trade experience within the beauty or hair sector is advantageous
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling ability
  • Immaculate personal presentation and confident communication style
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Own cellphone and tablet/laptop (company provides a monthly allowance for both)
