Education Technical Support - Lusaka

Impact One Initiative is a non-profit organization equipping community schools in Lusaka, Zambia to provide a quality education for their students. We provide our partner schools with training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to improve their management and teaching skills. We also support our schools with reading, technology, and creative arts programs. 
The Education Technical Support role is essential in ensuring the effective use of technology in community schools supported by Impact One Initiative. This individual will provide technical assistance, coordinate technology resources, and introduce innovative ways to maximize the use of technology in Impact One Partner Schools.
Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for laptops, tablets, and other technology used in community schools.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Support schools with the installation, updating, and maintenance of educational software and applications.
• Maintain an inventory of technological equipment and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Offer one-on-one support to teachers, and administrative staff on using technology for educational and administrative purposes.
• Assist schools in integrating technology into their teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Manage the operation of a computer laboratory, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
• Develop and enforce policies for the proper use of technology in the computer lab.
• Schedule and oversee sessions and laboratory activities.
