ARTICULATED DUMP TRUCK OPERATORS
Anglo Opencast Operations (Pty) Ltd is looking for a passionate and goal driven Articulated Dump Truck Operator, who will be based in the North West Rustenburg area. The qualified and suitable candidates applying for this position should meet the below minimum requirements.
Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Code 10 Driver’s licence
• Valid Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) competency certificate.
• Dover test with Symbol A.
• 3 years’ work-related experience.
• Medically Fit.
• Knowledge and understanding of opencast operations.
• Must understand the importance of working safely.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to achieve pre-use inspection and risk assessment.
• Take full care of the truck in terms of its cleanliness and tyre protection.
• Conduct a brake test at the start of shift and once with a load during shift.
• Reporting equipment defects.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Complete the daily planned target of charges transported.
• Load and haul material to the correct dumps or stockpiles.
• Report hourly loads hauled to Shift Controller
• Safety, Health and Environment:

- Consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities
- Identify specific risks within an area and adhere to discipline – specific plans/systems to avoid these risks.
