Position : Driver Code 10 - Ekurhuleni District

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive safely - Obey the traffic laws - Respect the rights of other drivers
  • Transitting items and documents safely and timeously to store and clients
  • Maintain vehicle standards and comply with company equipment and vehicle procedure
  • Conduct vehicle audit with vehicle check-list before commencement of duty
  • Drive in a responsible manner in order to portray a professional attitude and to obey safety rules and regulations.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Qualifications required:

  • Completed Grade 12
  • CIT Certificate
  • Grade A – C PSIRA
  • Advanced Driving Certificate

Requirements and Experience required:

  • South African Citizen
  • Valid driver license (Code B)
  • 5 years driving experience (high risk driving)
  • Good driving record
  • Clean criminal history
  • Be able to pass department of transportation physical requirements
  • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to adhere to strict policies and procedures
  • Must be able to maintain high level of security and control
  • Must be able to maintain situational awareness at all times
  • Knowledge of concepts, theories and principles of Safety, Health, Risk, quality and environment
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Must be very organized with emphasis on accuracy
  • Extensive travelling and overtime
  • Contactable references.
