Position : Digital Marketing Agent and Sales Executive - Kampala, Sentema Road

Tricsoft Technologies Ltd is a software development and solutions company based in Kampala, Uganda. We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Agent and Sales Executive to join our team. 
This role requires a creative and driven individual who can produce engaging social media content and also actively drive sales for our software products.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content (short videos, images, reels) for social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Shoot and edit videos using a smartphone and tools such as CapCut, Canva, InShot, VN, etc.
  • Manage content calendars and posting schedules; publish content across all company social media channels.
  • Storytelling & Engagement: Capture behind-the-scenes clips, client highlights, and field activities to showcase our work and achievements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor engagement and analyze content performance to optimize our social media strategy.
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct cold calls and follow up with prospects to generate leads and maintain a pipeline for our software solutions.
  • Client Interaction: Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations or pitches; negotiate terms and close sales deals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and sales teams to align content and campaigns with sales goals.

Academic requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in creating and editing digital content (video and graphics) using a smartphone and editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and platform-specific content styles (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and cover on-site or field activities for content creation.
  • Background or experience in sales and lead generation is a plus.
