Position : Control and Response Manager - Windhoek

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Management of technicians
  • Scheduling of the set-up and installations
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their daily duties
  • Manage and maintain weekly site inspections and ensure after-hour support is in place
  • Manage technicians and keep them updated on new products and installations
  • The successful applicant leads the Electronic Security Systems & Technology function which forms a fundamental and generic part of the integrated total solutions package presented to the Company and to Clients
  • Configuring effective systems and technology orientated structures towards maximum support of operations
  • Set goals for performance deadlines in ways that comply with the Company's vision
  • Attend to customer complaints and resolve or escalate issues accordingly and when necessary, recommend system improvements and/or replacements
  • Drive effective customer service and ensure quality of service is standardized across all technicians
  • Create and maintain all relevant records, files, and documentation required for seamless customer service
  • Set up customer training after installations where necessary
  • Measure, monitor, and maintain customer service and satisfaction
  • Manage all telecommunication platforms
  • Manage and coordinate all alarm monitoring systems and processes
  • Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, products and services
  • Coordinate and manage technical marketing through client meetings, networking and other channels
  • Manage the company’s sim cards
  • Manage all company electronic devices.

Required profile for job ad : Control and Response Manager - Windhoek

Criteria Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Sciences is necessary
  • Qualified on design/support/maintenance of major security systems (IP CCTV, burglar alarms and Access Control)
  • Proven experience in the security industry during the last 5 years of security systems design, cost-benefit analysis, supply chain management, project management, integration, central & remote monitoring services, IT networking and SQL database management
  • Knowledge of 2 way radios and other telecommunication systems
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Knowledge of security systems including Access Control, CCTV, ID Systems, Tracking Systems
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to speak English and Afrikaans advantageous with clear oral and written skills
  • Police Clearance Certificate.
