Company Driver - Kampala

The Company Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, and staff to their destinations. This role involves operating various vehicles, maintaining vehicle safety, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities :

1. Transportation Duties
   • Safely transport staff, clients, or materials to and from specified destinations.
   • Deliver goods, packages, or documents to designated locations as scheduled.
2. Vehicle Maintenance
   • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure it is in good condition (e.g., tires, fuel, oil, brakes, lights).
   • Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
   • Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
3. Compliance
   • Adhere to local traffic regulations and company driving policies.
   • Ensure all necessary documentation (licenses, permits, and insurance) is valid and updated.
4. Customer Service
   • Interact courteously with passengers, clients, or customers during transportation.
   • Address and resolve minor issues encountered during delivery or transport.
5. Documentation and Reporting
   • Maintain accurate trip records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
   • Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
6. Other Duties
   • Assist with loading and unloading goods or luggage when required.
   • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
