Chinese Translator - Surulere

We are looking for a Chinese Translator.
Responsibilities :

• Translate written documents from Chinese to another language (or vice versa) while ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Review and edit translated texts for clarity, coherence, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a glossary of specialized terms relevant to specific fields, such as legal, medical, or technical.
• Adapt content to suit the cultural context of the target audience, ensuring that nuances and idioms are appropriately conveyed.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and specific requirements for translation projects.
• Conduct research to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter and terminology used in the translation.
• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information contained in the documents being translated.
• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpreting services during meetings or events, if needed.
• Stay updated on language trends, translation tools, and cultural changes to enhance translation skills.
