Position : Business Manager - Accra

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to lead our luxury retail store in Accra, Ghana.
The Business Manager will oversee daily operations of a prestigious luxury retail store, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and maintaining efficient inventory management. This role involves leading a team, maintaining the store’s premium ambience, and implementing sales strategies to drive profitability and enhance the visibility of a globally recognized luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities

  • Open and manage the store daily, ensuring operational readiness and a premium ambience (cleanliness, layout, music, etc.)
  • Train and develop team members on luxury retail policies, products, and customer service excellence.
  • Develop and execute local sales strategies to meet or exceed luxury retail sales targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock records, and maintain reorder levels for high-end products.
  • Manage daily banking operations and financial reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Build and maintain a customer database for CRM purposes, focusing on high-net-worth clients.
  • Manage store expenses, minimize waste, and ensure security in a luxury retail environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Travel occasionally to other luxury retail stores within the region.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required profile for job ad : Business Manager - Accra

The ideal candidate will have:

  • bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the luxury retail industry or a similar high-end sector.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage high-net-worth clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, basic accounting, and IT tools (MS Word, Excel; Access is a plus).
  • passion for luxury brands and a deep understanding of the luxury retail market.
  • Familiarity with Ghanaian luxury retail trends and customer behavior.
