Position : Audit Manager - Harare

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements that support strong governance, risk management, and internal controls. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness across the organisation. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with strong analytical skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute internal and external audit engagements
  • Evaluate financial, operational, and compliance risks and internal controls
  • Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review audit reports, findings, and recommendations for senior management
  • Manage, coach, and develop audit team members
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
  • Monitor remediation of audit findings and track corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Provide advisory support on risk management and control frameworks

Required profile for job ad : Audit Manager - Harare

Required Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • 6+ years of audit experience, including people or engagement management
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
  • Experience in financial, operational, and compliance audits
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in internal audit, public accounting, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and audit management software
  • Experience working in multinational or complex organisations
