Position : Apprentice Electrician - Ladysmith

An opportunity exists for a disciplined and technically inclined Apprentice Electrician to gain hands-on exposure within an industrial manufacturing environment with a Fixed-Term Contract employment based in Ladysmith.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid electrical foundation who is seeking structured plant-based experience under qualified supervision.
Responsibilities :

  • Assisting qualified electricians with maintenance and fault-finding
  • Supporting electrical installations and repairs
  • Learning safe work procedures in an industrial plant
  • Assisting during breakdowns and planned maintenance
  • Maintaining tools, work areas, and safety standards
  • Completing tasks accurately and on time 

Required profile for job ad : Apprentice Electrician - Ladysmith

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • N4 Electrical Qualification (essential)
  • 2–3 years relevant exposure (advantageous)
  • Manufacturing or factory environment exposure (advantage)
  • Disciplined, reliable, and eager to learn
  • Able to work full-time hours in a factory environment 
  • Traceable & contactable references
  • Local residency or relocation required
