Position : German Customer Care Consultant - Windhoek

Global Load Control (a subsidiary of the Lufthansa German Airline Company) has exciting job opportunities of German Customer Care Consultants.The primary purpose of this position is to offer customer service and support in German, effectively assisting passengers and clients with their enquiries, bookings, and concerns, while contributing to an improved customer experience across the organisation's services.
Key functions (amongst others):

  • Ensure prompt and efficient handling of incoming calls. Provide timely and effective solutions to customer enquiries and issues.
  • Guarantee that work consistently meets high-quality standards, and established procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in processes and procedures.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant markets, including general Lufthansa and Star Alliance information.
  • Handle flight reservation bookings, re-bookings, and re-routings efficiently and accurately. Ensure smooth changes to customer travel plans.
  • Provide customers with direct sales options and process transactions accurately.
  • Deliver appropriate and relevant services to customers based on market and service requirements. Adhere rigorously to all relevant processes, rules, and regulations, including data protection guidelines.
  • Seek a complete understanding of client and customer requirements to provide accurate assistance.

Required profile for job ad : German Customer Care Consultant - Windhoek

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 Certificate and proficient level of Computer literacy
  • C1 level proficiency in German (fluent / native speaker) is required, as well as fluent English.
  • 1 year Customer service experience preferred
  • Must have a conducive home office space
  • Namibian citizen, permanent resident, and/or domicile
  • Must have access to ground fibre, with a minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload).
