Position : Inventory Officer - Nairobi
We are looking for an Inventory Officer.
The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and controlling stock levels within the organization. This role ensures accurate inventory records, proper storage of materials, and timely availability of stock to support operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials
- Organize and store inventory in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare inventory reports for management
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures
- Track damaged, expired, or obsolete stock and recommend disposal
- Use inventory management systems to update and track stock data

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in inventory or store management is an advantage
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
