Position : Receptionist - Nairobi
We are looking for a Receptionist.
Job Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Prestige Global Academy, responsible for managing front office operations, handling inquiries, and providing administrative support. The role ensures a professional, welcoming environment for students, parents, staff, and visitors while maintaining efficient communication and record management.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Management
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, and students in a professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
Communication & Coordination
- Direct inquiries to relevant departments or staff members
- Relay messages accurately and promptly
- Support internal communication between staff and departments
Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Support admissions and administrative processes when required
Records & Documentation
- Maintain visitor logs and student attendance records where applicable
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
- Ensure proper filing and storage of documents
Security & Access Control
- Monitor visitor access and ensure compliance with school security procedures
- Issue visitor badges and maintain entry records

Key Requirements
Education
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a school or corporate environment
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative systems
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
