Position : Customer Relationship Manager - Free State

We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager.
The Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) is responsible for building, maintaining, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers to ensure high satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. The role serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are understood, addressed promptly, and aligned with the organization’s products and services.
This position plays a critical role in enhancing customer experience, driving repeat business, and supporting revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Serve as the main contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and service excellence.

2. Account Management & Retention

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure contract compliance and service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and prevent potential churn.
  • Renew contracts and negotiate terms where applicable.

3. Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance, product, etc.) to resolve client issues.
  • Escalate critical matters when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track and report on service performance and response times.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.

4. Customer Experience Improvement

  • Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management.
  • Identify trends in customer behavior and recommend service improvements.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Support customer satisfaction surveys and improvement initiatives.

5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare periodic reports on account status, revenue, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Analyze client data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Track KPIs such as retention rate, churn rate, and response time

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in customer service, account management, or relationship management.
  • Experience working with CRM software and customer management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
