Position : Lab Scientist - Accra

We are looking for a Lab Scientist.
Responsibilities :

  • Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, stool, tissue, and other body samples.
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests including hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, and parasitology.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of test results.
  • Document and report laboratory findings in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
  • Identify abnormalities or inconsistencies in test results and communicate appropriately.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media when needed.
  • Assist in training and guiding lab technicians or interns.
  • Participate in laboratory audits, quality improvement, and accreditation processes
