Position : Supply Chain Manager - Chobe

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager.
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of goods, materials, and services from suppliers to customers. The role ensures cost efficiency, operational continuity, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and capacity planning to ensure availability of products and services.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance service delivery and cost efficiency.

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers and vendors.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and continuity of supply.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with logistics standards.
  • Monitor third-party logistics providers and ensure adherence to agreed performance metrics.

Operations & Process Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the supply chain.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality and reliability.
  • Implement best practices and supply chain performance frameworks.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including disruptions, shortages, and supplier dependency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Develop contingency and business continuity plans for supply chain operations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define and monitor supply chain KPIs including cost, service level, inventory turnover, and lead time.
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Prepare regular supply chain reports and recommendations.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, develop, and motivate supply chain teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Quality teams to ensure alignment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • 8–12 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations roles.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations and teams.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
  • CIPS qualification
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification
