Position : Automotive Mechanic - Nairobi

We are looking for an Automotive Mechanic.
Responsibilities :

  • Identify mechanical problems.
  • Tests parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly.
  • To ensure that all the critical parts are examined.
  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tuneups, checking fluid levels and rotating tires.
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts.
  • Check/test to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective.
  • Report on automotive problems and the repairs done on the vehicles/machines.

Minimum acceptable requirements for the role
Educational requirements

  • Grade I or II in motor vehicles(mechanics)  Or
  • Certificate/diploma in motor vehicles(mechanics)

Skills

  • Hands on experience
  • General knowledge of hydraulic systems 
  • Able to work under minimum supervision

Experience

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience

Other desirable requirements

  • Age: Minimum Age 28 years
  • Valid/clean driving license
