Position : Visual/Presentation Designer - Nairobi

We are looking for a Visual/Presentation Designer.
Responsibilities

  • Turn rough inputs (notes, calls, documents) into a tight storyline and clear structure.
  • Create pitch decks for different contexts: investors, sponsors, partners, internal teams.
  • Write and refine slide copy: headlines, captions, messaging, and framing.
  • Build slides that communicate clearly: charts, simple visuals, comparisons, timelines, models.
  • Ask the right questions to clarify the strategy and pull out what matters.
  • Improve existing decks: tighten flow, reduce clutter, elevate persuasion, simplify language.
  • Create reusable templates and slide systems that keep brand consistency.
  • Work fast with feedback and iterate without ego.

Required profile for job ad : Visual/Presentation Designer - Nairobi

Required Skills

  • Proven experience producing pitch decks / business presentations (portfolio required).
  • Strong storytelling + narrative structure skills (beginning → tension → solution → proof → ask).
  • Strong writing and editing: concise, punchy, clear.
  • Visual clarity: layout, hierarchy, spacing, readability, consistency.
  • Comfort with basic business concepts: value proposition, market, model, traction, positioning.
  • Tools: PowerPoint / Google Slides / Keynote (Figma optional).

  • You can explain the deck’s story in 60 seconds.
  • Every slide has a clear job and a clear takeaway.
  • The deck reads well even without someone presenting it.
  • You simplify complex ideas without dumbing them down.
  • You know when to cut, when to reframe, and when to visualize.

  • You are structured, calm, and don’t need heavy supervision.
  • You can collaborate with founders and extract clarity from messy thinking.
  • You care about impact more than decoration.
  • You can ship quickly, then refine.
