Position : Health and Safety Officer - Khartoum,Kassala,El Fasher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety regulations.
  • Organise safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Recommend preventive measures and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and training.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a health and safety role.
  • Professional certification, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, or equivalent, is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
