Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager
Job Summary
Kaaro Foods is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead and execute the company’s sales and marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to strengthen the brand and promote its products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support market expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and manage key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers
- Monitor sales performance, prepare sales reports, and provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability
Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to enhance brand awareness
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Oversee digital marketing, social media, advertising, and promotional activities
- Plan and coordinate product launches, trade shows, and promotional events
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing team
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and results-driven work environment

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the FMCG or food processing industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and successfully executing marketing campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Uganda’s consumer market and distribution channels
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital marketing tools
