Job Title: Company Driver
Job Summary
Kaaro Foods is seeking a responsible and professional Company Driver to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of staff, materials, and products. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining company vehicles, adhering to road safety regulations, and providing reliable driving services for daily company activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, raw materials, finished products, and other goods as required
  • Ensure timely delivery and pick-up in accordance with assigned schedules and routes
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and basic repairs when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
  • Strictly adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required
  • Promptly report accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained, and in proper working condition
  • Provide courteous and professional service to staff and clients during transportation

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Ugandan driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience
  • Good knowledge of Kampala and surrounding road networks
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
