Golden Gelton Ltd., on behalf of our client in Zimbabwe’s growing digital economy, is seeking a Data Scientist / Data Analyst who can transform raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and prepare large datasets for analysis.
  • Analysis & Insights: Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover trends and patterns.
  • Visualization: Create clear, compelling dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into business strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through data-driven solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of methodologies, models, and results.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Strong proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
    • Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
    • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to present complex data in simple terms.

    Preferred Extras

    • Master’s degree or professional certifications in Data Science/Analytics.
    • Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
