Position : Operations Manager - South Sudan

Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our reputable client organization operating within the Print Media and FMCG sector in South Sudan. Our client is seeking a highly business-oriented Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end operational performance, drive efficiency, and support sustainable growth in their dynamic and fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with hands-on operational leadership to align day-to-day operations with the strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across the organization, ensuring seamless coordination and operational efficiency.
  • Translate business strategy into operational plans, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Oversee production, supply chain, distribution, and inventory management to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, and improve margins while maintaining service standards.
  • Collaborate with commercial, sales, and finance teams to support revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards relevant to the industry and region.
  • Lead, mentor, and performance-manage operational teams to foster accountability and high performance.
  • Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in operational leadership within Print Media and FMCG environments is a MUST.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, cost control, and operational scaling.
  • Solid understanding of production workflows, supply chain logistics, and distribution models.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional people management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
