Position : Senior IT Operations Manager - Juba

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Operations Officer to oversee, optimize, and secure our IT infrastructure and daily operational systems. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless technology performance, lead IT support processes, and drive continuous improvement across all digital operations. This role requires exceptional leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, systems performance, and infrastructure stability.
  • Manage network administration, servers, hardware, software, cloud systems, and security protocols.
  • Lead and mentor the IT support team to deliver timely and high-quality technical assistance.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, standards, disaster recovery plans, and security frameworks.
  • Monitor system performance, identify risks, and proactively resolve operational issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Manage IT projects including upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, asset registers, SOPs, and incident logs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data protection laws, and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic input on IT budgeting, resource planning, and technology innovations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in IT operations, systems administration, or IT infrastructure roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Windows/Linux servers
    • Network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Cybersecurity tools and standards
    • ITIL or similar frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
