Position : Business Development Manager - Gaborone

We are looking for a Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities :
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing The Titan Emporium’s presence in Zambia. Your responsibilities will include:Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on the industrial sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, demonstrating the benefits of our air compressor solutions.
  • Collaborate with the South African team to address client needs and deliver customized solutions.

Market Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular market feedback to the South African head office.

Reporting and Coordination:

  • Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and client updates.
  • Work closely with the South African team to align on objectives and strategies.

Required profile for job ad : Business Development Manager - Gaborone

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years in sales, with a proven track record in business development within the industrial sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of air compressors or industrial equipment is essential.
  • Experience in B2B sales and managing long sales cycles.

Education:

  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Sales, or a related field is preferred.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Zambia.
  • A valid driver’s license.
