Position : Business Development Manager - Gaborone
We are looking for a Business Development Manager.
Responsibilities :
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing The Titan Emporium’s presence in Zambia. Your responsibilities will include:Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on the industrial sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, demonstrating the benefits of our air compressor solutions.
- Collaborate with the South African team to address client needs and deliver customized solutions.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular market feedback to the South African head office.
Reporting and Coordination:
- Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and client updates.
- Work closely with the South African team to align on objectives and strategies.
Required profile for job ad : Business Development Manager - Gaborone
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, with a proven track record in business development within the industrial sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of air compressors or industrial equipment is essential.
- Experience in B2B sales and managing long sales cycles.
Education:
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Competencies:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively within Zambia.
- A valid driver’s license.
