Position : Assistant Lodge Manager - Serengeti

Beautiful lodge in the Serengeti, Tanzania is recruiting an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager.
Duties include:

  • Ensure daily interaction and communications with in-house guests
  • Ensure brand standards are always maintained
  • Support to the Lodge Manager
  • Ensure that controls and systems are in place to ensure the sustainability of the business
  • Relief for the Lodge Manger when on leave
  • Hosting
  • Taking the lead on groups
  • Form part of the management team, be reliable and lead by example
  • Assist in maintaining a good working relationship with the government bodies
  • Assist in placing and monitoring all lodge operational stock orders

This is permanent live-in role.

Required profile for job ad : Assistant Lodge Manager - Serengeti

Experience required:

  • At least 4 years’ relevant management experience in a 5-star lodge establishment
  • Lodge Operations Experience
  • Any relevant qualifications would be an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written English (other languages an advantage)
  • Leadership skills
