Position : HR Assistant - Pretoria Gauteng

We are seeking an organized and proactive HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in recruitment, employee records management, HR reporting, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Maintain and update employee records (hard and digital copies).
  • Prepare HR-related documents such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing staff training sessions, meetings, and events.
  • Track attendance and leave records; assist with payroll preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR data.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
