Position : Business Development Consultant - Cape Town

Our financial Services client is looking for a Business Consultant / Business Development Consultant with solid sales experience. Must have experience working with Independent Financial Advisors or DFM’s and independent Umbrella funds.
Salary: Market-related CTC
Position Type: Permanent – Office based.
Travel: Monthly travel to JHB, Durban and Port Elizabeth
Start Date: ASAP

  • BCom or equivalent qualification
  • RE5 & FAIS Compliant
  • Class of Business training – Long Term Insurance (to be completed within 12-months of employment)
  • Up to 5 year experience in a sales or business development roles – Financial Services
  • Knowledge on the investment landscape including regulatory requirements and guidelines for selling and providing advice would be ideal.
  • Knowledge on investment linked insurance products would be advantageous.
  • Product sales and cross-selling tactics and strategies (Optimisation of client).
