KINDERGARTEN TEACHER 
Reports To: Principal/Head of School
Work Environment:

• Standard classroom environment with occasional outdoor activities.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate should have a love for teaching young children, a creative approach to lesson planning, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. 
The Kindergarten Teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while helping them develop their personalities and skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES 
Lesson Planning and Delivery

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of young learners.
• Use a variety of teaching techniques and materials to present subject matter effectively.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and interaction.

Classroom Management

• Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining order among students.
• Monitor students’ progress and adapt teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture.

Student Assessment and Evaluation

• Assess students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through observation, testing, and maintaining records.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on student progress.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct parent-teacher conferences.

Professional Development

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and share resources.

Communication

• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss their child’s progress and address any concerns.
• Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.

Additional Duties

• Supervise students during school hours, including in the classroom, on the playground, and during field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
