Position : Yellow Plant Diesel Mechanic - Pietermaritzburg

RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a trade tested and experienced Yellow Plant Diesel Mechanic for a well-established, growing concern based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Required profile for job ad : Yellow Plant Diesel Mechanic - Pietermaritzburg

  • Grade 12.
  • Code 14 / 15 valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
  • English/Afrikaans speaking person.
  • Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
  • Trade tested diesel / earthmoving mechanic (yellow plant diesel mechanic with earthmoving and construction experience).
  • 5yrs+ previous working experience in the construction / earthmoving industry. 
  • Previous working experience with construction / heavy plant earthmoving equipment is ESSENTIAL. Yellow plant diesel mechanic with construction experience and Wirtgen and Vogele machinery experience.
  • Previous working experience on trucks and yellow metal equipment (TLB’s, excavators, etc is a requirement.
  • Person must be willing to work weekends and after hours when required.
  • Must be able to work independently without continuous supervision.
