Position : UI / UX Designer - Riverside, Nairobi

We are looking for an UI / UX Designer.
Responsibilities :

  • User Interface Design: Design and implement user interfaces for mobile applications and websites, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Culturally Aligned Design: Create visually appealing and intuitive designs that align with Islamic principles and respect cultural sensitivities.
  • Brand Consistency: Develop and maintain a consistent design system and brand guidelines across all platforms.
  • Graphic Creation: Design logos, banners, email templates, and marketing materials for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation.
  • Responsive & Accessible Design: Ensure all designs are responsive and adhere to accessibility standards.

Qualifications

  • Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • UI/UX Principles: Strong understanding of user interface design and user experience best practices.
  • Design Systems Knowledge: Experience with design systems and component libraries.
  • Responsive Design Experience: Proven ability to create designs that function seamlessly across various devices.
  • Accessibility Standards: Understanding of WCAG guidelines and the ability to implement accessible design solutions.
  • Basic Coding Skills: Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Deep awareness and sensitivity to Islamic values and cultural nuances.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Hours
 Monday to Friday | 9am - 7pm | No Weekends
Pay

  • Probationary Period - 50k - For the first 6 months.
  • Permanent Contract - 100k plus Company Benefits
