Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and cleaning
  • Operate and maintain paint equipment and tools, such as spray guns and compressors
  • Mix paint to achieve the desired color and consistency
  • Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats to products in a controlled environment
  • Inspect painted products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Qualifications & Skills

  • Artisan Certificate or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials and safety procedures in a paint booth environment
  • 2+ years of experience as a Spray Painter
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
