Position : Spa and Salon Manager - Harare

We are looking for a confident, organised, and people-focused Salon Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our salon. This role is perfect for someone who loves the beauty industry, thrives in leadership, and knows how to balance client experience with business performance.
You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring smooth salon operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving growth while maintaining a positive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Salon Operations

  • Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Open and close the salon as required
  • Manage bookings, schedules, and staff rosters
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are met at all times

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and support the salon team
  • Train, onboard, and supervise staff
  • Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
  • Foster a positive, professional, and respectful work culture

Customer Experience

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Handle client enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
  • Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business

Business & Sales

  • Monitor daily sales, targets, and performance
  • Drive retail and service sales through staff training and motivation
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Assist with promotions, marketing activities, and client retention strategies

Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, staff attendance, and expenses
  • Prepare basic reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with salon policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Salon Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Stylist/Therapist
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of salon operations, retail sales, and staff management
  • Experience with booking and POS systems is an advantage
