Position : Sourcing Supervisor - Kwale

We are looking for a Sourcing Supervisor.
Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and supervise brokers to ensure coconut sourcing targets and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct rigorous inspections of coconut maturity, seasoning, and grading to minimize defects.
  • Maintain accurate broker inventories and enforce strict adherence to seasoning and heaping rules.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive sourcing work plans, inventories, and operational budgets.
  • Train brokers on quality requirements and build strong, productive business relationships.
  • Coordinate efficient collection logistics to optimize time and minimize transportation costs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and regional opportunities to improve sourcing strategies.
  • Utilize Appsheet daily for real-time data updates, activity tracking, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and analyze data to provide actionable sourcing insights.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and safeguard all company assets under your supervision.

Required profile for job ad : Sourcing Supervisor - Kwale

  • Hold a minimum Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Procurement relevant to the role.
  • Possess at least 2 years of proven work experience as a Sourcing or Procurement Assistant.
  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with mobile-based data collection applications is an added advantage.
  • Must hold a valid motorbike riding license.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills for collecting, interpreting, and working with data figures.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
