Position : Service Engineer - Harare

 
We are looking for a Service Engineer.
Responsibilities :
Equipment Installation & Commissioning

  • Responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, and acceptance of the company’s agricultural machinery (such as harvesters, tractors, seeders, dryers, etc.).

After-Sales Repair & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose equipment faults, perform repairs, replace spare parts, and ensure timely restoration of normal machine operation.

Customer Technical Support

  • Provide user training, operating guidance, maintenance instructions, and technical consultation to customers.

Inspection & Preventive Maintenance

  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and carry out preventive maintenance plans to avoid potential failures.

Technical Reporting & Documentation Management

  • Prepare technical service reports, maintenance records, spare-part requests, and customer feedback reports.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain effective communication with customers and dealers, collect user needs, and gather market feedback.

Training & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Support training for local operators as well as internal sales and service teams.

Required profile for job ad : Service Engineer - Harare

 
Education & Major

  • Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Machinery, Mechatronics, or related fields (preferred).

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of after-sales service experience in agricultural or construction machinery (e.g., tractors, harvesters, dryers, feed machinery) is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system principles, with strong troubleshooting and repair skills.

Language & Communication Skills

  • Good communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers.

Other Requirements

  • Able to travel frequently and adapt to on-site working conditions.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, hands-on ability, and good service awareness.
