Position : Senior Executive - D2C Sales - Dar Es Salaam

We are looking for a Senior Executive - D2C Sales.
D2C:

  • Drive D2C channel growth through both online (social media, website, WhatsApp) and offline (events etc.) customer touchpoints.
  • Suggest plan to D2C Head and execute offers, promotions, and campaigns to boost direct sales.
  • Monitor social media campaigns, website/landing page traffic, lead generation, and conversion performance.
  • Work closely with logistics/ops team to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
  • Manage stock updates, returns/refunds, and customer satisfaction.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to improve overall D2C experience.
  • Create plans for aging inventory/device liquidation using discounts, combo offers, or targeted outreach

Content Marketing

  • Develop a content strategy that supports both brand building and sales.
  • Create daily/weekly content for social media, WhatsApp broadcasts, SMS, and landing pages.
  • Build product stories, feature highlights, offers, and FAQs in a way that is simple and easy to understand.
  • Make short videos for product demos, customer reviews, how-to guides, and D2C campaigns.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to get creatives made on time.
  • Maintain a content calendar for consistent communication and planning.
  • Track performance of posts (views, clicks, conversions) and improve based on results.

Tele-Sales

  • Actively call and engage with leads to convert them into successful sales.
  • Personally manage a daily target of outbound/inbound calls, follow-ups, and closures.
  • Maintain detailed lead status, customer conversations, and follow-up timelines in the CRM.
  • Use product knowledge and sales techniques to guide customers and close deals.
  • Categorize leads as Hot, Warm, Cold, and plan follow-ups accordingly to maximize conversions.
  • Lead and manage tele-caller focused on similar sales outcomes.
  • Distribute leads across the team and ensure timely follow-up by each caller.
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly targets for self and team, and track performance closely.
  • Train team members on call handling, objection management, and product pitching.
  • Monitor team calls, share feedback, and support skill improvement.
  • Regularly update and improve calling scripts and sales pitches based on campaign and customer feedback.
  • Handle escalations and ensure smooth resolution with a customer-first approach.
  • Keep the team engaged, motivated, and aligned with D2C sales goals.

Required profile for job ad : Senior Executive - D2C Sales - Dar Es Salaam

  • Proven experience in telesales or customer service roles, preferably in a retail or telecommunications environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathise and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Training in sales techniques, customer service, or telecommunications is a plus.
