We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure that enables secure, scalable, and resilient solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure as code, automation, DevOps practices, and cloud governance. This role requires both hands-on technical delivery and the ability to guide best practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions on networking, identity, storage, and compute.
  • Develop solutions aligned with Well-Architected Framework and compliance requirements (ISO27001, DORA, GDPR).

Implementation & Automation

  • Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep templates.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Automate provisioning, monitoring, and scaling of cloud environments.

Operations & Reliability

  • Manage and optimize Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Functions, Networking, Storage).
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Datadog).
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement Azure security best practices including IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to cloud compliance frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with developers, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Provide input into cloud strategy, governance, and cost optimization (FinOps).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Azure experience as a Cloud Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.

Strong expertise in:

  • Azure compute, networking, and storage services.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Identity & security in Azure AD, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics or Datadog).
  • Strong scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Proven track record in designing resilient architectures and migration projects.
  • Azure certifications preferred: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.
