Position : Security Country Manager - Windhoek

The ideal candidate for the Security Country Manager role in Namibia should have a strong background in the security industry, with a minimum of five years of experience as a General Manager. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of manpower management, demonstrated expertise in physical security concepts and techniques, and proficiency with tools like Easy Roster. A relevant tertiary qualification in Security Management is essential, along with a valid PSIRA Grade B certification. The role also requires a proven ability to develop and implement strategies for revenue growth, sales management, and financial planning. Namibian citizenship or a valid work permit is mandatory

Key Performance Areas will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with executive management to develop strategic objectives for the Namibia region.
  • Formulating strategies to drive revenue growth by identifying and implementing process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Managing and driving sales to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Building and maintaining key relationships to enhance personal sales contributions.
  • Conducting market analysis to ensure a competitive sales offering.
  • Encouraging and implementing innovative approaches to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staying informed about new sales techniques, technologies, and best practices.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
  • Analyzing competitors and adjusting sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reviewing management accounts monthly for accuracy and financial performance forecasting.

Budget Control: Collaborating with the finance team to develop and review a detailed, achievable annual budget aligned with strategic plans.
Debtors Control: Managing debtor aging effectively, ensuring all 60-, 90-, and 120-day accounts are addressed promptly.
GP Control: Negotiating annual increases with existing clients, ensuring they align with the company’s acceptable GP levels before contract expiration.
Wage Control: Ensuring wages remain within budget, with proper controls in place to manage and oversee wage expenses.

  • Achieving an average score of 85% on service evaluations.
  • Managing staff through planning, organizing, leadership, and development initiatives.
