Position : Sales and Marketing Manager - Mukono

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager.
The Sales and Marketing Manager at Kaaro Foods Ltd is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and promoting the company’s food products locally and regionally. This role involves developing marketing strategies, managing the sales team, building relationships with distributors and clients, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. The manager plays a key role in enhancing brand visibility, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, clients, and distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and institutional customers.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports for management.

2. Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Develop marketing campaigns to promote Kaaro Foods’ products.
  • Manage advertising, social media, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends.
  • Coordinate product launches, trade shows, and promotional events.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales and marketing team.
  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
  • Foster collaboration between marketing, production, and distribution teams.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and distributors.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Track sales metrics, market trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales and marketing performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Knowledge of Ugandan market dynamics, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
