Position : Sales and Marketing Manager - Lusaka

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager.
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and strengthen the organization’s brand. The role oversees sales operations, marketing campaigns, customer relationship management, and market development while leading and motivating the sales and marketing team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets
  • Set sales objectives, forecasts, and budgets
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote products and services
  • Oversee branding, advertising, promotions, and digital marketing activities
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer trends
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective campaigns

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new markets, products, and distribution channels
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances
  • Support product launches and go-to-market strategies

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Handle key customer negotiations and resolve major customer issues
  • Implement CRM systems and processes

Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate sales and marketing staff
  • Set performance targets and conduct appraisals
  • Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture

Reporting & Analysis

  • Analyze sales and marketing data to assess performance and ROI
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management
  • Recommend improvements based on market insights and performance trends

Required profile for job ad : Sales and Marketing Manager - Lusaka

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM, MBA) is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5–10 years’ relevant experience in sales and marketing, with proven managerial experience
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share
