We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure that every guest experience reflects the warmth and excellence of our client's restaurant. The ideal candidate is both people-centred and process-driven, capable of managing staff, optimizing systems, and maintaining high operational and service standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and kitchen coordination.
- Supervise and motivate kitchen and service staff to uphold brand standards and efficiency.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Financial & Business Management
- Monitor inventory, procurement, and cost control to maximize profitability.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and operational budgets.
- Prepare performance and expense reports for management review.
- Support business development initiatives, including catering and delivery operations.
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests receive outstanding service and hospitality at every touchpoint.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly with professionalism and warmth.
- Maintain the restaurant’s brand atmosphere.
Team Development
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff members effectively.
- Foster a team culture rooted in respect, accountability, and pride in Jamaican Spice.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
Marketing & Brand Support
- Support marketing activations, promotions, and social media initiatives.
- Coordinate with the management team on content days, influencer visits, and brand events.
- Ensure visual consistency of menu items, packaging, and service presentation.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a “can-do” attitude (proactive)
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and inventory efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with Jamaican or Caribbean cuisine is an advantage.
