A dynamic company focused on empowering businesses in informal settlements, offering tailored solutions that drive growth and efficiency, is looking for a dedicated Regional Manager. You will be responsible for managing regional resources, executing client projects, aligning strategies with budgets and deliverables, and ensuring successful implementation of initiatives with mobile telecommunication companies. You will oversee staff performance, recruitment, training, and alignment with client objectives while fostering professional relationships and delivering impactful reporting
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

  • Oversee regional resources to meet mobile telecommunications project objectives.
  • Execute a regional field marketing strategy to achieve client goals.
  • Manage team productivity and align KPIs with operational efficiency.
  • Maintain regional budgets and manage costs effectively.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate regional teams, including supervisors, field marketing specialists, and promoters.
  • Conduct regular KPI reviews and performance assessments.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members as needed.
  • Manage staff grievances and disciplinary processes.

Project Execution:

  • Plan and monitor all regional activities, including area coverage and call schedules.
  • Collaborate with client regional teams to align objectives and strategies.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to ensure smooth execution.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for clients and the National Project Manager.
  • Utilize dashboards and market intelligence to identify trade opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality written, visual, and verbal communication in all reporting.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster professional relationships with mobile telecommunication staff and stakeholders.
  • Align field marketing objectives to maximize market presence and share.

Administrative Duties:

  • Prepare and submit travel and accommodation requests.
  • Calculate and submit regional salary and incentive payments.
  • Ensure all documentation, including staff contracts and payroll forms, is completed and submitted to head office.

Required profile for job ad : Regional Manager - Cape Town

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a relevant field.
  • Marketing degree or diploma (advantageous).
  • Qualification in Project Management (advantageous).
  • Own vehicle and valid license
  • Minimum 2+ years in management.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in field marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing teams.

Leadership: Advanced in leading teams, enabling performance, and decision-making.Behavioral: Honesty, accountability, transparency, responsiveness, and respect.Core: Customer-centric, goal-oriented, attention to detail, planning, and critical thinking.Technical: Communication, influencing/persuasion, Excel proficiency, and problem-solving.
