Position : Radiologist (In-House) - Floreal,Mauritius

We are currently recruiting an In-House Radiologist to be based at C-Care Mauritius. This opportunity is open to qualified international radiologists, including candidates from Kenya, who are seeking international exposure and career development.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and report medical imaging examinations including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Bone Densitometry
  • Review patient history and clinical information to determine the most appropriate imaging technique
  • Interpret imaging studies accurately and produce clear, timely diagnostic reports
  • Identify the need for additional imaging views or specialised examinations where required
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality during imaging procedures
  • Assist clinicians with specialised and invasive radiological procedures when required
  • Ensure imaging procedures are conducted in a clean, safe, and sterile environment
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any technical issues promptly
  • Comply with radiation safety standards and proper handling of radioactive materials
  • Provide guidance and training to radiographers, nurses, and technical staff
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Radiology Department
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Medical Services

Required profile for job ad : Radiologist (In-House) - Floreal,Mauritius

Candidate Requirements

  • Medical degree with specialisation in Radiology
  • Registered / eligible for registration with the Medical Council in home country (Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar radiology role
  • Competence in general radiology including CT, MRI, and Ultrasound
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with digital imaging systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage clinical workload efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Willingness to relocate to Mauritius and commit to a minimum contract period
  • Ability to provide satisfactory professional reference checks
