Position : Quality Assurance Manager - Kisumu

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead, develop, and oversee the organization’s quality systems. The role is responsible for ensuring that products, services, and operational processes consistently meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on quality management experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Establish quality standards, procedures, and controls aligned with regulatory and industry requirements
  • Lead internal and external audits and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Monitor quality performance metrics and report findings to senior management
  • Identify quality risks, gaps, and inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Manage quality documentation, records, and change control processes
  • Train, mentor, and supervise quality assurance staff
  • Collaborate with operations, production, supply chain, and management teams to ensure quality alignment
  • Handle customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Quality Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management roles
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience with audits, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, HACCP, or similar are an added advantage
