Position : Quality Assurance Manager - Gaborone

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all quality control processes and ensure that products, services, and operations meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will develop quality strategies, lead inspections, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Oversee inspections, testing, and quality checks throughout production or service delivery.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Identify quality gaps, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report on key quality indicators and performance metrics.
  • Train and guide staff on quality requirements, best practices, and compliance processes.
  • Work closely with production, operations, and technical teams to maintain consistent quality levels.
  • Manage documentation, quality reports, and certification requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

They should hold a relevant degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 4–6 years of experience overseeing quality systems, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The candidate must be detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001. Excellent leadership, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential. They should be capable of identifying quality gaps, driving corrective actions, and ensuring consistent product or service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years experience in quality assurance, quality control, or compliance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Experience in audit management, process improvement, and quality systems implementation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
