Position : Project Consultant - Kigali

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Consultant to support our organization in planning, executing, and optimizing a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance, ensure project objectives are met, and help drive operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical ability, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and strategic recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project planning sessions, define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, research, and risk assessments to guide decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare clear, actionable reports for management.
  • Identify project challenges early and propose effective solutions.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with organizational standards and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and manage expectations professionally.
  • Support budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Consultant, Project Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana, Jira).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
