We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee all purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and cost-efficient procurement processes within our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring timely acquisition of quality goods and services while optimizing budgets, strengthening supply chain efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
  • Evaluate supplier performance through quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
  • Lead the end-to-end purchasing lifecycle including sourcing, vendor selection, price negotiation, and purchase order management.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities, materials, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments for timely material availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation regarding procurement performance and spending.
  • Lead and mentor procurement team members to ensure high performance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics , or a related field .
  • 3–7 years of proven experience in procurement , purchasing , or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation , vendor management, and contract management skills .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities .
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems , and MS Office tools .
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills .
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities .

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certifications such as CIPS , CPM, or CSCP ( added advantage ).
  • Experience in industry-specific procurement ( manufacturing , construction, FMCG , etc.).
  • Knowledge of risk management, cost analysis , and supply chain optimization .
