Poste proposé : Partnership Coordinator - Dakar

We are looking for a passionate Partnership Coordinator to join Blue Ventures in Dakar, Senegal, and support the strategic growth of our Partner Network focused on community-based fisheries management and marine conservation.
Responsibilities:

  • Scope, select, and build strong relationships with civil society and non-governmental organizations (CSOs/NGOs) partnering with Blue Ventures globally.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify capacity and funding requirements of partners.
  • Develop and manage multi-year partnership agreements to provide sustained support.
  • Facilitate lateral learning and knowledge exchange among partners to build a global community of practice.
  • Identify capacity-building needs and support organizational strengthening initiatives.
  • Represent Blue Ventures through regular travel to partner sites, including remote and tide/weather-dependent locations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Partnerships West Africa and other teams to execute partnership growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with rural communities, small-scale fisheries, and community-based conservation or development initiatives in Senegal and the Gambia.
  • Strong relationship-building and partnership management skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to extensive travel and work across multiple time zones.
  • Alignment with Blue Ventures’ values and commitment to human rights-based approaches to marine conservation and fisheries management.
